The inaugural American Family Insurance Championship, held June 2016 in Madison, Wis. at University Ridge golf course, was a resounding success. This was the first PGA Tour event in the state since 2009, when the Greater Milwaukee Open ended its 42-year run. American Family is honored to play a role in Wisconsin's golf legacy and join hometown hero Steve Stricker in welcoming back PGA TOUR Champions Tour competitors to this annual event and to support local charitable organizations through the Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation. This year's event raised $1,089,500, which was distributed to 34 charities. The second American Family Insurance Championship will take place June 19-25, 2017.NEWS
